In May of 2017 my daughter Alyssa Elsman tragically took her last breath in NYC at the age of 18. She loved to travel and explore new places. Three years later in March of 2020 my son Carter Elsman passed away at the age of 19. While he also liked exploring new places, he preferred going off the beaten path. About two weeks before he passed away he shared with me that NYC was where he had felt the most free he ever had. I would love to have them both memorialized on a Central Park bench in NYC - Where Lys took her last breath and where Carter felt the most free.
I think most parents who have lost a child want to make sure the world never forgets them. Please consider helping me make sure the world never forgets mine!
