Gets tips from a master to improve your chess game, and then test your new skills at the Chess & Checkers House. Grandmaster Susan Polgar returns to the Conservancy's annual series of summer chess programs with a lecture and "Simul" game in which she'll play up to 30 players simultaneously, moving from board to board, making one move at a time.

All are welcome to enjoy the lecture and cheer on Simul participants. 30 players of any age with an official US Chess Federation rating of 1,000 or better can participate in the Simul when registered on a first-come first-served basis from 9:30 am - 10:00 am on the morning of the event.* Boards and pieces are available to borrow at the Chess & Checkers House for anyone not participating in the Simul who wishes to play a friend.
